The difference between different varieties of natural gas flowmeters is that the measurement principle is different, and the customary working conditions are very different.

1. Ultrasonic gas flowmeter

The transmission time method and Doppler effect method are the methods often used by ultrasonic flowmeters to measure the average speed of the fluid. It is also a non-blocking flowmeter. If the ultrasonic transmitter is installed outside the pipeline, there is no need to stab it.

2. Turbine natural gas flowmeter

When the flow rate of the fluid flows through the turbine, the fluid makes the rotor rotate, the rotation speed of the rotor is related to the speed of the fluid, and the flow rate or total amount can be derived from the average flow rate felt by the rotor, which can accurately measure the clean liquid and gas. Like differential pressure throttling flowmeters, turbine flowmeters can also cause pressure errors that do not heal, and they also require moving parts.

3. Differential pressure natural gas flowmeter

Choose from a wide range of flow measurement skills, including orifice, V-cone, Venturi and sonic nozzles, as well as uniform pitot flow meters such as Weiba, Anoba and Deltaba flow meters, to measure the flow rate of most liquids, gases and vapors. The differential pressure flowmeter has no moving part, is widely used and easy to use, but after blocking, it will lose pressure, affecting the accuracy, the accuracy of the flowmeter precision measurement depends on the accuracy of the pressure measurement surface.
