How to install and maintain gas turbine flow meter correctly

At present, gas turbine flowmeter is more and more widely used in the measurement of medium in industrial production and commercial. It is a kind of measuring the impact of the turbine blade when the medium enters the instrument tube body. When the fluid passes through the pipeline, a turbine is placed in the core of the pipeline. The pulse signal is generated proportional to the flow rate of the pipeline medium, and the rotational angular rate of the turbine is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid. The drive energy moment of the turbine is generated, and the signal is amplified and shaped. Thus, the pulse signal is also sent to the frequency and current conversion circuit, and the sensor coil sends the detected flux period change signal to the pre-digital calculation unit. When the turbine blade cuts the change caused by the permanent magnetic steel in the housing, the turbine speed is detected by the sensor coil installed outside the housing. It causes a change in the magnetic flux in the sensing coil. This is used to calculate the flow rate of the fluid medium through the pipe.
First, the correct installation of high temperature turbine flowmeter
1. the turbine flowmeter can be installed horizontally and vertically, and the fluid direction must be upward when installed vertically. The liquid should fill the pipe without bubbles. When installing, the liquid flow direction should be consistent with the direction of the arrow indicating the flow direction on the sensor housing. The upstream end of the sensor should have at least 20 times the nominal diameter of the straight pipe section, the downstream end should be not less than 5 times the nominal diameter of the straight pipe section, the inner wall should be smooth and clean, no dents, scaling and peeling defects. The pipe axis of the sensor should be aligned with the adjacent pipe axis, and the gasket used for connecting the seal should not penetrate into the inner cavity of the pipe.
2. the turbine flowmeter should be away from the external electric field, magnetic field, if necessary, should take effective shielding measures to avoid external interference. In order not to affect the normal delivery of liquid during maintenance, it is recommended to install a bypass pipeline at the installation place of the sensor.
3. When the turbine flowmeter is installed in the open air, please make the amplifier and plug waterproof.
4. when the fluid contains impurities, should be installed filter, filter mesh according to the flow of impurities, generally 20 to 60 mesh. When free gas is mixed in the fluid, an air eliminator should be installed. The entire piping system should be well sealed.
5. the user should fully understand the corrosion of the measured medium, to prevent the sensor from being corroded.
Second, turbine flow meter maintenance adjustment
1. When used, the liquid under test should be kept clean and free of impurities such as fibers and particles.
2. When the turbine flowmeter is used, the sensor should be slowly filled with liquid first, and then the outlet valve should be opened, and the flowmeter is strictly prohibited from being impacted by high-speed fluid when it is in a liquid free state.
3. turbine flow meter maintenance cycle is generally half a year. When repairing and cleaning, please be careful not to damage the parts in the measuring chamber, especially the impeller. When assembling, please look at the position relationship between guide and impeller.
4. When the turbine flowmeter is not in use, the internal liquid should be cleaned, and protective sleeves should be added to both ends of the sensor to prevent dirt from entering, and then placed in a dry place for storage.
5. when used, the filter should be cleaned regularly, when not in use, the internal liquid should be cleaned, like the sensor, with dust jacket, stored in a dry place.
6. the transmission cable of the flow meter can be laid overhead or buried (buried should be covered with iron pipe.)
7. before the sensor installation, first connect with the display instrument or oscilloscope, pass the power supply, blow the impeller with the mouth or hand, so that it quickly rotate to observe whether there is a display, and then install the sensor when there is a display. If none is displayed, check the relevant parts and troubleshoot the fault. Pay attention to the problems that the product needs to pay attention to, and solve the problems that we need to solve most.
