What flowmeters are available to treat industrial wastewater?

With the rapid development of industry, wastewater treatment has become an important link to reduce environmental pollution. To achieve wastewater treatment, accurate measurement of industrial wastewater flow is an essential step. Only by understanding the flow rate of wastewater can we work out the corresponding treatment plan and achieve the treatment target. Therefore, it is very important to choose an accurate and reliable wastewater flowmeter.

1. Electromagnetic flowmeter
The electromagnetic flowmeter is suitable for a variety of sewage treatment processes, and can maintain good measurement accuracy when the liquid contains solids, bubbles or chemical corrosive substances. The electromagnetic flowmeter is characterized by no moving parts, no pressure loss, and online detection of faults, but because the measurement results of the electromagnetic flowmeter are affected by parameters such as temperature, density and conductivity, it is necessary to calibrate its conductivity.

2. Vortex flowmeter
The core component of turbine flowmeter is turbine sensor. When the fluid passes through the turbine sensor, a rotating turbine is formed, and the flow rate of the fluid is calculated based on the speed of rotation. This flowmeter has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, fast response speed, wide range, etc., and is suitable for various types of fluid measurement. In the sewage treatment plant, the turbine flowmeter can realize the flow monitoring of key positions such as the inlet pipe, outlet pipe, sedimentation tank and aeration tank, and provide data support for the optimization of the process flow.

3. Radar flowmeter
Radar flowmeter is a newly developed sewage flowmeter technology in recent years, which has the advantages of non-contact measurement, wide application range, and no interference from fluid properties and particles. The radar flowmeter is suitable for the flow measurement and regulation of sewage treatment plants, which can monitor and record the flow changes in real time, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of sewage treatment.

4. Ultrasonic flowmeter
Ultrasonic flowmeters are suitable for various conditions in the sewage treatment process, especially for sewage flow measurement with large flow, large aperture or liquid containing particles. Ultrasonic flowmeter has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy, no pressure loss, and is not affected by the composition of the fluid, but it is affected by the climate, water quality and fluid, and the appropriate installation location needs to be selected according to the actual situation.
