Aister introduces the difference between precession vortex flowmeters and vortex flowmeters, and quickly understands in one minute:
1. the structure is different: vortex flowmeter and precession vortex flowmeter generating body are immovable parts, usually called the vortex generating body, but the vortex generating body of the two is different, the vortex generating body of the vortex street is triangular column type, the vortex generating body of the precession vortex is similar to the impeller of the turbine.
2. the measurement principle is different: the principle of vortex flowmeter is to set a triangular column vortex generator in the fluid, the gas flows through the vortex generator, alternating from both sides to produce a regular vortex, this vortex is called Karman vortex street, by measuring the frequency of the vortex street to calculate the measurement of medium flow. The measuring principle of the precession vortex flowmeter is that when the fluid passes through the vortex generator composed of spiral blades, the fluid is forced to violently rotate around the body axis to form a vortex. When the fluid enters the diffusion section, the vortex flow begins to rotate twice under the action of backflow, forming a gyroscopic vortex precession phenomenon. The vortex of vortex flowmeter is alternately generated on both sides, and the vortex of precession vortex flowmeter is gyroscopic.
3. the measurement medium is different: vortex flowmeter can measure gas, liquid and steam, precession vortex flowmeter can only measure gas.
4. Measuring pipe diameter: The measuring pipe diameter range of vortex flowmeter is greater than the diameter of precession vortex flowmeter pipe. When measuring gas with the same pipe diameter, the flow range is different, and which flowmeter is more suitable according to the actual application situation on site.
