Aister teaches you five selection tips for gas flowmeters

The whole system of gas flowmeter is composed of flow sensor, intelligent liquid crystal host, temperature and pressure compensation element and instrument valve assembly. Gas flowmeter can also be applied to all kinds of pure dirty and corrosive media measurement.
When the fluid passes through the vortex generating body composed of spiral guide blades, the fluid is forced to violently rotate around the center of the vortex generating body to form a vortex flow. The vortex flow accelerates, and the flow intensity increases along the flow direction through the reduced section. When the vortex flow enters the diffusion section, under the action of the flow guide body backflow, the vortex produces a secondary rotational motion, that is, the vortex precession. The frequency of secondary vortex precession is proportional to the flow rate. When the flow meter is designed, the frequency of the vortex is linear to the flow rate over a wide flow range. The frequency is detected by a piezoelectric sensor and calculated and processed by a flow integrator.
Gas flowmeter selection guide
1.gas flow meter connection: flange clamp type (table body without flange) or flange connection type (table body itself with flange). It is generally recommended to choose the flange clamp type because of its compact structure, low price, and short supply cycle.
2.gas flow meter structure type: one type structure and sub-type structure. Generally, a type structure is used, and only a type structure is used in special occasions (such as: when the medium temperature is high, when the ambient temperature or humidity is high, when the field display is convenient for reading).
3.gas flowmeter display method: no field display, with field display and only with field display. Field display refers to the LCD display circuit installed on the watch head, which can display the cumulative flow rate, instantaneous flow rate and other parameters.
4.gas flowmeter signal output mode: pulse signal output and 4 ~ 20mA standard current signal output. Under normal circumstances, it is recommended to use pulse signal output, because the pulse signal directly corresponds to the vortex shedding frequency, without conversion, and has a cumulative accuracy; At the same time, the pulse signal transmission effect is better. The standard current signal output is generally used to form a flow measurement system with a terminal or control system.
5.gas flowmeter explosion-proof form: non-explosion-proof type and safety explosion-proof type. If the measured medium is flammable and explosive substances or there are flammable and explosive substances in the measuring environment, explosion-proof type should be selected.
