Aister Meters share the correct installation method of gas turbine flowmeters

Gas turbine flowmeter has the characteristics of high accuracy, no zero drift, high range ratio and good repeatability, many users have begun to choose gas turbine flowmeter when measuring natural gas, Aister and you share the following gas turbine flowmeter installation requirements:
1.normal temperature type, low temperature type, high temperature type flowmeter depending on different working conditions using horizontal, vertical or inverted installation;
2.in order to ensure the accurate measurement of natural gas flowmeter, it is required to set the front and back straight pipe section;
3.in order to ensure that the flow meter in the inspection and replacement of the system does not affect the work, should try to set the bypass valve and cut off valve;
4.due to the need of the process can be installed vertically, the flow of measured media can be from bottom to top, or from top to bottom, but the order should be explained to the supplier;
5.the diameter of the natural gas flowmeter and the diameter of the connected pipeline should be the same as far as possible to reduce flow interference, resulting in metering errors;
6.flange type and clamp type flowmeter installation, should pay attention to the flange between the sealing gasket hole size greater than the flow meter and process pipe diameter 6-8mm and whether coaxial, to avoid interference flow and affect the measurement accuracy;
7. When installing the plug-in flowmeter, the short pipe and flange must be welded to the pipe to ensure that the fluid is facing the force surface of the target plate, and the height of the welded short pipe is 100mm;
8. For the newly completed process pipeline, the flowmeter should be installed after preliminary purging;
9. The direction indicated by the arrow on the outer wall of the measuring tube is the flow direction of the measured medium;
10.the flow meter shell must be reliably grounded, if no grounding conditions should be explained to the manufacturer.
