Aister shares the principles of precession vortex flowmeter selection

In the selection process of the precession vortex flowmeter, two principles should be grasped: first, to ensure the accuracy of use, and second, to ensure production safety. To this end, three selection parameters must be implemented, namely, the design pressure of the measured medium, the actual working pressure, the recent and long-term maximum, minimum and common flow rate.

1. When the measured flow rate is known to be the volume flow rate under standard conditions, the volume flow rate under standard conditions should be converted to the volume flow rate under working conditions, and then the corresponding nominal diameter should be selected according to the flow range;

2. When the measured flow is known to be the volume flow of the working condition, the appropriate nominal diameter can be directly selected according to the flow range in the table;

3.do not make the actual Qmin lower than the flow limit of the selected nominal runoff meter;

4.flow range, nominal pressure has special requirements can be agreed to order;

5.when the two caliber flowmeters can cover the two limits of volume flow, under the pressure loss allowed, should try to choose a small caliber.

The working principle of the precession vortex flow meter is that the gas entering the flow meter is forced to rotate and accelerate after passing through the spiral rotor, forming a vortex, and the center of the vortex is the vortex core. The accelerated vortex slows down sharply after entering the expansion section, and the pressure rises to produce reflux. Under the action of reflux, the vortex core makes spiral precession around the axis line of the flow meter. The flow rate can be derived by measuring the vortex precession frequency by sensing the sensitive element.
