1.check the precision function
The precision of different steam flowmeter types is different, for example, the flowmeter for trade settlement, energy metering and other occasions should choose a 1.0, 0.5 or even more accurate flowmeter, but only for general process control or detection of the flow, without too accurate metering and control occasions, choose 1.5. 2.0 or even lower precision flowmeters are also possible, and the specific choice of which flowmeter depends on the process control requirements of the boiler using enterprise.
2. Take into account measurable media
Even if the steam is measured at the same time, because the medium contained in the steam is different, its flow rate and range requirements are different. Generally, under no special circumstances, the flow rate of the measuring medium can meet the conditions in the range of 0.5-12 meters per second, but when the flow rate of the medium is low or high, the measuring range exceeds the set range of the vortex flowmeter, at this time, other types of flowmeters must be considered.
3.considering the size of the pressure compensation transmission
Due to the characteristics of the steam itself, it is necessary for the instrument equipment to be set with a long steam pipeline, and to meet the flow supply of steam in the long pipeline, pressure compensation must be used. The size of the range of the pressure compensation transmitter affects the pressure, temperature and density of the final pipe. In order to ensure that the saturated steam pressure in the pipeline is in the normal range of 0.3-0.7MPA, it is recommended to select the pressure transmitter of the boiler steam flowmeter to reach 1Mpa.
In addition, choosing the right boiler steam flowmeter also needs to take into account whether the instrument display has the function of pressure compensation, flow accumulation and instantaneous flow display, which are factors to be considered in the purchase of flow timing.
