What is the maintenance work of vortex flow meter?

2024-05-27
The vortex flow meter is mainly used to measure the flow of medium liquids in industrial piping, including the volumetric flow of gas, steam or liquid. In daily operation, it is very easy to measure fluid fouling, which disrupts the measurement, so we need to do a good job of routine maintenance and servicing of the vortex flow meter.
1. The vortex flowmeter probe must be cleaned regularly. Inspection revealed that a sensing hole in the probe was clogged with dirt, and even wrapped in plastic, affecting normal measurement.

2. The vortex flowmeter regularly checks grounding and shielding to eliminate external interference. The display problem is sometimes due to interference.

3. Daily use of the flowmeter protects the flowmeter coating and reduces contact with oily substances to prevent damage to the insulation of the flowmeter coating. At the same time, damage caused by crushing of the surface finish should be avoided.

4. the vortex flowmeter installation environment: the wet probe. It must be dried regularly or treated against moisture. Because the probe itself and the end of the anti-moisture treatment, moisture after exposure to operation.

5. Particular attention must be paid to the data management of the vortex flowmeter, to facilitate future work.

6. For the flowmeter to guarantee measurement accuracy and stability, it needs to be checked or calibrated over a period of time (usually one year); checks should be sent to the government-designated measurement and calibration unit; calibrations can be outsourced or carried out by the company itself.
