Coriolis mass flow meter wiring method
2024-06-04
The wiring method of Coriolis mass flow meters needs to be operated according to the specific model and product instructions, but generally the following steps can be followed:
1. Determine the power supply requirements
Check that the voltage and power of the external power supply meet the operating requirements of Coriolis mass flowmeters.
2. Connect the power supply
When using internal power:
Connect the "+U" of the flow meter to the 12V power supply.
Connect the "-U" of the flowmeter to the negative terminal of the power supply.
When using an external power supply:
Connect the "+IN" of the flowmeter to the positive terminal of the external power supply.
Connect the "-IN" of the flowmeter to the negative terminal of the external power supply.
3. Connect the analog voltage output
Continue to connect the "+U" and "-U" of the flow meter to the 12V power supply.
The analog voltage output is generally 0-5V, which can be directly connected to the analog voltage input port of the device.
4. Connect signal input and output
Connect the signal input and output of the Coriolis mass flowmeter according to the product instructions.
Make sure that "+OUT" and "-OUT" are connected to the bus and negative terminals of the device respectively.
5. Other precautions
Before connecting the power supply, check the power supply polarity to ensure proper connection and avoid damage to the flow meter.
For pulse output, RS-485 communication port wiring, etc., you need to refer to the specific model of the product manual for operation.
After the wiring is completed, adjust the instrument parameters according to the instructions, and carry out the necessary inspection and debugging.
6. Security matters
Ensure all connections are secure and secure to prevent loose or poor contact.
Ensure that devices are properly grounded.
Follow the safety instructions in the product manual to ensure the safety of the operation process.
