There are many measuring methods of gas turbine flowmeter manufacturers, but the measuring methods we now use in the industry are not very standardized, it is worth discussing, in fact, there are five important factors affecting the measurement method of flow meters, they are performance requirements, fluid characteristics, installation requirements, environmental conditions and costs. These five factors coordinate with each other to ensure accurate measurement of gas turbine flowmeters. Let's first look at how environmental aspects affect flow meter measurements. During the installation process, the expected changes in the instrument and the surrounding conditions must be fully considered, and the specific analysis is as follows:
1) Ambient temperature; The change of environmental thermometer will have a great impact on the electronic parts of the instrument and some flow detection parts of the instrument; If the flow characteristics are affected by the change of ambient temperature, some pipelines need to carry out thermal cladding.
2) Ambient humidity; If the ambient humidity increases, the electrical insulation will be reduced, and the atmospheric corrosion and electrolytic corrosion will be accelerated; If the ambient humidity is reduced, it is easy to generate static electricity. Therefore, the problem caused by the humidity, for the possible range of changes, the user should anticipate and verify whether there will be unnecessary problems for the operation of the selected instrument;
3) Security; In the selection and installation of instruments, safety rules must be considered, such as whether the installation environment is explosive threat;
4) Electrical interference; Electrical electromagnetic interference, usually generated in power cables, electrical switches and motors, is also a source of measurement error.
Gas turbine flowmeter has the advantages of high precision, good repeatability, simple structure, few moving parts, high pressure resistance, wide measuring range, small size, light weight, small pressure loss, easy maintenance, etc., for measuring the volume flow and total volume of low viscosity gas in closed pipelines.
