What flowmeter is used to measure natural gas in city pipe network?

In modern society, natural gas is an important energy, widely used in industrial production, life, is not to care about the cost of expenditure, in order to cost accounting, fair trade, energy saving and automation control, the performance of natural gas flow meters put forward higher and higher requirements. The urban natural gas pipeline network is spread throughout the city, taking into account the safety problems, pipeline delay loss and other problems, so the natural gas pressure in the pipeline is low, the flow rate is not high. At the same time, the flow rate in the pipeline differs greatly when the gas is used at peak and trough.
For example, the measured data results at the regulator station are as follows: the flow rate is low at 0-1 o 'clock at night, which is 5m3/h; At 5-6 o 'clock in the evening, the peak gas flow is 350m3/h, so it requires that the natural gas flowmeter is a flow measuring instrument with wide range, high sensitivity and low measurement limit.
At present, the flow rate that can achieve wide range and low limit for gas measurement at home and abroad mainly consists of the following three kinds:
(1) Thermal gas mass flowmeter
Thermal gas mass flowmeter is the use of gas heat transfer performance and its mass flow of the relationship to measure the flow, so can be used to measure very low flow, has a wide measurement range, and has a certain anti-impurity ability, is a rapid development in recent years a flowmeter, so the principle, its measurement and the composition of the gas related, only applicable to the composition of the relatively stable gas flow measurement.
(2) Gas turbine flowmeter
The gas turbine flowmeter uses the impeller to rotate under the push of the gas to measure the flow rate of the gas, has a certain anti-impurity ability, and is not affected by the change of the gas composition. This kind of flowmeter is used more in foreign countries, but the domestic turbine flowmeter is rarely used in urban network management because of its higher flow limit.
(3) Gas waist wheel (Roots) flowmeter
This flowmeter is a kind of positive displacement flowmeter, with low lower limit, wide range, high accuracy, and small relationship with the medium physical parameters, but the cleanliness of the gas requirements are higher, the use of the need to install a filter device, and its regular cleaning.
