The fault and solution of liquid turbine flowmeter

Liquid turbine flow meter is a kind of high reliability instrument for measuring liquid flow, which can solve the non-conductive liquid medium that can not be measured by electromagnetic flowmeter. However, the liquid turbine flowmeter is the same as the metal tube rotameter, if the measuring medium is too much impurities, it is necessary to install a filter screen at the front end of the flowmeter to prevent the impeller from getting stuck or damaged, and avoid unnecessary trouble.
When there is no display in normal flow, the total number of words on the display counter does not increase:
1. Check whether the power cables, fuses, function selection switches, and signal cables are disconnected or in poor contact
2. Check whether there is poor contact with the printing plate and contact parts inside the display instrument
3. Check the detection coil
4. Check the internal faults of the sensor
When the above three checks are confirmed to be normal or the fault has been eliminated, the fault phenomenon does not disappear, indicating that the fault is not in the exterior but in the sensor flow channel, you can check whether the impeller touches the inner wall of the sensor, whether there is foreign matter stuck, and whether the shaft and bearing are stuck or broken.
Solutions to the above problems:
1. Use an ohmmeter to locate the fault
2. You can replace the faulty printing board by using the "spare board" method. Replace the faulty board for detailed inspection
3. Mark the position of the detection coil on the sensor body, remove the detection head, and move quickly under the detection head with an iron sheet. If the number of words in the counter does not increase, the coil should be checked for other problems
4. Remove the foreign matter, clean or replace the damaged parts, air blow or hand move the impeller after recovery, replace the bearing and other parts until there is no friction sound, re-check, and obtain a new instrument coefficient.
