Toluene Flow Meter is used to measure toluene and other liquid flow meter, its variety, selection need to consider a number of factors to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurement. The following is a detailed explanation of the types and selection of toluene flowmeters:
1. Toluene flowmeter type
Turbine flowmeter (TUF) : Turbine flowmeter is the main variety of impeller flowmeter, through the sensor using a multi-blade rotor to feel the average flow rate of the fluid, thereby deriving the flow rate or total amount. It has the characteristics of simple structure, light weight, convenient maintenance, large circulation capacity and high parameters. Positive displacement flowmeters: such as circular gear flowmeters, elliptical gear flowmeters, liquid waist flowmeters, etc., such flowmeters calculate the flow rate by measuring the time or number of times the fluid passes through a fixed volume.
Coriolis mass flowmeter: Coriolis mass flowmeter is a flowmeter based on the Coriolis principle, which can directly measure the mass flow of fluids.
2. Main items of selection
Measurement purpose requirements: According to the actual demand to select instantaneous flow or cumulative flow (cumulative flow), flow display unit, measurement accuracy, repeatability, linearity, flow range and range, measurement temperature, pressure loss, temperature and pressure compensation, output signal characteristics and response time.
Measurement medium properties requirements: Consider the chemical properties of the fluid, such as corrosion and scaling, to avoid corrosion or scaling of the instrument contact parts.
Gas density: For gas toluene flowmeters, gas density has a greater impact on the meter coefficient, especially in low flow areas. If the gas density changes frequently, the flow coefficient of the flowmeter needs to be corrected.
