On-site installation requirements and instructions for thermal gas mass flow meters
2024-04-17
The thermal gas mass flow meter is one of the instruments widely used in the field of industrial automation, whose accurate measurement performance and stable work require correct field installation. The following are the requirements and guidelines for on-site installation of thermal gas mass flowmeters:
1. Installation location selection:
When selecting the installation location, avoid direct sunlight, rain immersion and strong wind areas to avoid being affected by the external environment.
2. Installation direction:
The flowmeter generally has a specific installation direction, and the direction of installation needs to be determined according to the flow direction of the fluid to ensure that the flowmeter works normally.
3. Requirements for the straight section of the pipeline:
Adequate straight pipe sections should be retained before and after the hot gas mass flowmeter, and it is usually required to retain a straight pipe section of 10 times the diameter of the pipe before and after the flowmeter.
4. Avoid vibration and shock:
Flow meter should avoid mechanical vibration and impact, need to choose a strong support or hanging device for fixing.
5. Ambient temperature:
Ensure that the installation environment temperature does not affect the performance of the flow meter, and avoid excessively high or low temperature environments.
6. Power and signal lines:
Connect power cables and signal cables correctly to avoid long lines or close to electromagnetic interference sources.
7. Sealing requirements:
According to the characteristics of the fluid, choose the appropriate sealing material to ensure that the fluid will not leak.
8. Explosion-proof requirements:
If there is an explosion risk in the installation environment, it is necessary to choose a thermal gas mass flowmeter suitable for explosion protection.
9. Safe distance:
Maintain a sufficient safe distance from other equipment and pipes to avoid interference and affect measurement accuracy.
10. Calibration and testing:
After installation, calibration and testing are required to ensure the accuracy of the meter measurement.
