Biogas flow meter is used to measure biogas flow meter, its variety, the selection needs to be determined according to the actual working conditions, the nature of biogas and the performance parameters of the flowmeter. Biogas flowmeter type
Gas turbine flow meter:
Principle: The turbine is used for measurement, the flow rate is converted into the turbine speed, and then the speed is converted into an electrical signal proportional to the flow rate.
Features: Detect instantaneous flow rate and total integrated flow rate, the output signal is frequency, easy to digitize. The range ratio can reach 10:1, and the accuracy is within ±0.2%.
Application: Widely used in petroleum, organic liquid, inorganic liquid, liquefied gas, natural gas and low temperature fluid.
Precession vortex flow meter:
Principle: The flow profile of the flow sensor is similar to the profile of a venturi tube, and a set of spiral vane is placed on the inlet side to force the fluid to produce a violent vortex flow. Flow rate is measured by detecting the secondary rotational precession frequency of fluid.
Features: not affected by the physical properties and density of the fluid, the detection element can measure the secondary rotational precession frequency of the fluid to obtain good linearity in a wide flow range.
Application: Mainly used in industrial production process, energy metering, environmental protection engineering, transportation, biotechnology, scientific experiments and other fields.
Vortex flow meter:
Principle: A triangular column type vortex generator is set in the fluid, and regular vortices are alternately generated from both sides of the vortex generator, and the flow rate is measured by detecting the vortex frequency.
Features: Suitable for the measurement of various gases, liquids and vapors.
V Cone flowmeter:
Features: High temperature and pressure resistance, up to 700, maximum pressure up to 42MPa, adapt to the harsh conditions of biogas environment. For 15~2000mm pipe can be matched.
Application: Flowmeter suitable for measuring biogas flow.
Biogas flowmeter selection
In the selection, the following factors need to be considered:

Measurement range: Specify the biogas flow range required to be measured, and select the appropriate flowmeter model.
Fluid properties: Consider the concentration, pressure, temperature and other parameters of biogas, as well as whether it contains impurities such as solid particles.
Installation environment: Consider the environmental conditions of the installation site, such as temperature, humidity, and corrosion.
Accuracy requirements: Determine the required measurement accuracy according to the measurement requirements.
Economic cost: comprehensive consideration of flowmeter price, maintenance costs and service life and other factors.
