Tips for selecting a corrosion-resistant hydrogen fluoride flow meter

Hydrogen fluoride flowmeter is an instrument used to measure the flow of highly corrosive liquids such as hydrogen fluoride. Because hydrogen fluoride is highly corrosive, it is necessary to choose a flow meter with corrosion resistance to accurately measure its flow rate.

There are many types of hydrogen fluoride flowmeters, such as electromagnetic flowmeters, gear flowmeters, ultrasonic flowmeters and so on. These flowmeters need to consider factors such as the corrosiveness of the medium, temperature, pressure and measurement accuracy when selecting them.

When choosing a hydrogen fluoride flow meter, the following key factors should be considered:

1. Corrosion resistance:

Therefore: for low concentration of hydrogen fluoride, you can choose a general corrosion resistant flowmeter, such as stainless steel, PTFE and other materials made of electromagnetic or gear flowmeter; For high-concentration hydrogen fluoride, it is necessary to choose a more corrosion-resistant flowmeter, such as a flowmeter made of titanium or a flowmeter with a special anticorrosive coating; The type of flowmeter selected for close to pure hydrogen fluoride is the same as that for low concentration hydrogen fluoride.

2. Measurement accuracy:
The measuring accuracy of the flowmeter is also an important factor to consider. When selecting the flow meter, the model with high measurement accuracy should be selected according to the actual demand. For example, some high-precision flowmeters require specific fluid conditions, such as low or high temperature, low or high pressure.
