What is a gas turbine flow meter? What are its characteristics?

The gas turbine flow meter is mainly used to measure flow in industrial pipelines for air, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, methane, natural gas, steam and other fluids. Flow volume measurement is virtually independent of density, pressure, temperature, viscosity and other liquid parameters. No mechanical parts are in motion, resulting in high reliability and low maintenance costs. Instrument parameters can be stable for a long time. The vortex gas flowmeter is equipped with a piezoelectric voltage sensor, is highly reliable and can operate in a temperature range of -20 ~ +250 . There are standard analog signals, but also a digital pulse signal output, easy to use with computers and other digital systems, it's an advanced and ideal flowmeter.
The frequency pulse signal output of the gas vortex flowmeter is unaffected by changes in liquid and component properties, i.e. the instrument's coefficient over a certain Reynolds number range depends only on the vortex generator, the shape and size of the pipeline and so on. But because the flowmeter in material balance and energy measurement must determine mass flow, the flowmeter output must also control volumetric flow and fluid density, fluid properties and flow measurement components or direct impact. The vortex gas flowmeter is based on the closed-tube liquid flow measurement principle of Kamen vortex, a new flowmeter. With good adaptability to the medium, without temperature and pressure compensation, it can directly measure the volumetric flow of steam, air, gas, water, liquid, equipped with temperature and pressure sensors, it can measure nominal volumetric flow and mass flow, making it an ideal alternative to throttle flowmeters.

Gas vortex flowmeter to improve gas temperature and vibration resistance, due to its structure and material selection, so the sensor can be used at high temperature (350 ), strong vibration (≤ 1g) in harsh environments. The length of 15D or more of a piece of straight pipe for rectification, so processing, installation is not practical.

The integral vortex flowmeter with temperature and pressure compensation is equipped with temperature and pressure sensors. For gas flow measurement, it can directly measure the temperature and pressure of the gaseous medium to indicate the nominal volumetric flow rate of the gas.
