How to install an electromagnetic flowmeter correctly? How to connect it?

Electromagnetic flow meters are widely used in industry. For the electromagnetic flowmeter to operate stably and reliably, and measure accurately, installation must be carried out using the correct method. Aister Instrument now explains how to install an electromagnetic flowmeter correctly.
1, the sensor can be installed on a vertical pipe, but also on a horizontal or inclined pipe, as long as both electrodes on the centerline are horizontal.
2, the fluid in the installation position must be full of pipe flow, to avoid incomplete piping and gas adsorption on the electrode.
3. In the flowmeter installation position, the fluid is not full, it is possible to lift the rear end of the flowmeter pipe method, so that it is full, which is strictly forbidden at the highest point of the pipe and at the outlet of the flowmeter installation.
4. Length of straight section before and after flowmeter: front section ≥ 10DN, rear section ≥ 5DN (DN is pipe diameter).
5, flange connection, twin-spot welding of flange to pipe, bolt and body to flange connection. Then weld.
6. Add the first two flanges to the body and pipe by welding, with bolts and nuts to install the flowmeter together, by spot welding.
Electromagnetic flowmeter wiring method
1, the flowmeter body, the fluid being measured and the pipe connection flange between the three must be equipotentially bonded and earthed.
2. Installed in a vertical pipe, the measured fluid must flow from bottom to top; installed in a horizontal pipe, the two measuring electrodes must not be in the pipe above and below the position.
3. The flowmeter must be adapted to the length of the straight section of the pipe, and the mounting bracket must comply with the project documentation.
