Beer Flow Meter

2024-06-13
1. Type of flow meter
Beer Flow Meter is a meter specially designed to measure the flow of beer. According to the measuring principle and structural characteristics, the common beer flowmeter mainly includes differential pressure flowmeter, vortex flowmeter, electromagnetic flowmeter and so on. Each of these flowmeter types has its own characteristics and is suitable for different beer production and delivery scenarios.
2. Measurement principle
The measuring principle of beer flowmeter is based on the principle of fluid dynamics. Differential pressure flowmeter calculates the flow rate by measuring the differential pressure generated when the fluid flows through the throttling device; Vortex flowmeter uses the vortex frequency generated by the fluid in the specific shape of the measuring tube to calculate the flow rate. Electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, by measuring the induced electromotive force of the conductive fluid in the magnetic field to calculate the flow.

3. Traffic range
The flow range of the beer flowmeter depends on the specific model and specification. In general, the flow range can range from a few litres/hour to several thousand litres/hour to meet the needs of different scales of beer production and delivery.

4. Accuracy level
The accuracy grade of the beer flowmeter indicates the accuracy and reliability of its measurement results. The accuracy level is usually expressed as a percentage, such as ±1%, ±0.5%, etc. The choice of accuracy level should be determined according to the actual needs and measurement requirements.

5. Work stress
The working pressure of the beer flowmeter refers to the pressure range that it can withstand in normal operation. When selecting the beer flow meter, it is necessary to ensure that the working pressure range of the selected instrument matches the actual working environment to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy or damaging the instrument due to too high or too low pressure.

6. Operating temperature
The operating temperature range of the beer flowmeter refers to the temperature range that it can withstand in normal operation. The production and transportation process of beer may involve different temperature environments, so it is necessary to choose a beer flowmeter that ADAPTS to the corresponding temperature range.

7. Material and structure
The material and structure of beer flowmeter have an important impact on its corrosion resistance, service life and measurement accuracy. Common materials include stainless steel, cast iron, plastic, etc., should consider the corrosion of beer, temperature, pressure and other factors when choosing. In terms of structure, beer flowmeters usually use a compact, robust design to ensure that they can work stably in harsh environments.

8. Installation and maintenance
Proper installation and maintenance is the key to ensure the accurate operation of the beer flow meter. During the installation process, the manufacturer's installation requirements should be followed to ensure that the meter is installed on the straight pipe section and avoid installation in the area of eddy current generation. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the cleaning and ventilation of the installation location to avoid dust and moisture affecting the instrument. In terms of maintenance, regular cleaning and inspection should be carried out to ensure the normal operation of the instrument and extend the service life. For the faulty instrument, it should be investigated and treated in time to ensure the smooth progress of beer production and transportation.
