Sewage flowmeter is an induction meter used to measure the volume flow of conductive medium in pipes. Today, we make a simple analysis of the medium flow rate and straight pipe section requirements for sewage flowmeters. Sewage flowmeter only measures the conductive liquid medium, which we must remember, then we must see whether the medium is full tube, all flow meter products need the medium full tube, not satisfied with the tube measurement error is very large, when this situation must require the user to transform the pipeline to achieve the purpose of full tube, Next, it is necessary to see whether the medium flow rate meets the requirements of the minimum flow rate, common flow rate and maximum flow rate of the sewage flowmeter. After the above situation is determined, you can basically choose this model of sewage flowmeter to use.

The following points should be noted when using sewage flow timing:

1, the diameter of the instrument is generally the same as the diameter of the pipe to be measured, it should depend on the flow rate, and the pipe flow rate is generally the economic flow rate of 1.5~3m/s. The diameter of the sensor is the same as the diameter of the pipe, and the liquid flow rate can be selected within the range of 1~10m/s when the flow rate is full. The upper flow rate is theoretically unlimited, but it is generally recommended not to exceed 5m/s. For fluids with easy adhesion, accumulation, scaling and other substances, the flow rate is not less than 2m/s, **3~4m/s or above, to achieve self-cleaning, avoid adhesion accumulation and other effects. For abrasive fluids such as pulp, the usual flow rate should be lower than 2~3m/s to reduce the wear of the lining and electrode. The fluid flow direction should be consistent with the flowmeter mark. The installed pipe should ensure that the measuring pipe is always filled with the measured medium to prevent empty pipes.

2. The upstream of the sewage flowmeter should have a straight pipe section of not less than 10D pipe diameter, and the downstream measurement should have a straight pipe section of not less than 5 times the inner diameter of the pipe. If a gate valve or regulating valve is not fully open upstream, the length of the upstream straight pipe section of the meter shall be increased to 15 times the distance of the pipe bore.

3, when the sewage flow meter is tilted or vertically installed, the flow direction should be top-down.

4. The straight pipe section used by the sewage flowmeter should also be careful not to have negative pressure to prevent the lining material from falling off.

Sewage flowmeter has certain requirements for medium flow rate and straight pipe section, we can only create a good operating environment for it, in order to play its accuracy, so we want to do everything possible to meet all its requirements.
