What are the main points of daily maintenance and use of gas turbine flow meters?

Gas turbine flowmeter is a gas medium measurement instrument especially common in industrial production, its working principle is: the measured gas entering the flowmeter, accelerated by the deflector frame of cross-section shrinkage, through the inlet channel acting on the turbine blade, driving the impeller rotation. The impeller shaft is installed on the rolling bearing, and the number of impeller revolutions proportional to the volume of the measured gas is transmitted to the counter or flow computer after multiple decelerations to display the volume of the measured gas under actual conditions. In order to keep the instrument in a normal and stable working state, attention should be paid not only to the initial selection, but also to the correct and standardized operation in the subsequent installation and maintenance operations.

Note on installation of gas turbine flowmeter:

1, before installation and use, according to the manufacturer’s instructions to guide the construction;

2, after the completion of pipeline construction, should be blown, and to remove welding slag, rust scale and other dirt;

3, recommended horizontal installation;

4, welding heat will damage the flow meter, should avoid welding adjacent flange with a table;

Gas turbine flowmeter maintenance operation process:

1. There is no need to reset parameters before the gas turbine flowmeter is put into use;

2. When the gas turbine flowmeter is put into operation, the inlet valve should be opened manually slowly, and the outlet valve should be opened manually after the pipeline is full of gas and the pressure is balanced to prevent the turbine from being damaged by the instantaneous airflow impact. It is strictly forbidden to open or close the valve quickly.

3, when the gas turbine flowmeter is put into operation, it is required that the pressure regulator at the downstream of the same pipeline has been completed, there will be no ice blockage, the pressure difference before and after the turbine flowmeter can not be too large, and the flow rate can not be too fast.

4, regularly clean, check and re-calibrate the flow meter, and regularly inject lubricating oil to maintain the good operation of the impeller;

5, monitor the flow display of the traffic computer, evaluate the flow situation, and check immediately when there is an anomaly;

6. Keep the filter smooth. If the filter is blocked by impurities, it can be judged from the differential pressure value of the differential pressure transmitter installed at the inlet and outlet of the filter, and the blockage can be eliminated in time. In the case of cleaning, the differential pressure should be <=0.15 bar, if the differential pressure is >0.7 bar, be sure to clean and replace the filter element;

7. If there are more impurities in the pipeline, the flow meter turbine should be cleaned when it is not working properly. After the flow meter turbine is removed, it should be cleaned and re-installed with light high-grade gasoline.
