2. Damage of impurities in the medium After long-term work, the adhesion and deposition of dirt in the fluid on the inner wall of the measuring tube, the surface of the generator and the inner wall of the instrument converter, the surface of the generator and the surface of the detection element change the geometric size parameters of the measuring tube and the generator, the measurement error of the instrument increases, the sensitivity of the detection element is reduced, and the signal amplitude is reduced. And then cause the failure of the detection element.
3. Lightning damage Onsite instruments are damaged by lightning strikes during the thunderstorm season. Lightning strikes in the transmission line will induce instantaneous high-voltage spike pulse and powerful surge current, breakdown or burn the electronic components in the converter, this lightning strike is mainly introduced through the power line and signal line.
4. Environmental reasons The long-term erosion of corrosive gases and moisture in the environment will cause the insulation resistance of the detection element to decline, as well as the corrosion of some electronic components, wiring terminals and ground terminals, so that the contact resistance of the connector increases and the transmission signal is attenuated.
