The role and function of temperature and pressure compensation of vortex flow meter
Due to the compressibility of the gas, its flow measurement is more complex than that of the liquid, and the output signal of the vortex flowmeter is related to the gas density in addition to the input signal, and the density of the gas is a function of temperature and pressure (referred to as temperature and pressure).
Therefore, the problem of temperature and pressure compensation is common in gas flow measurement.
The density of vapor is related to humidity in addition to temperature and pressure. In recent years, new vortex flowmeters have been emerging, which makes the temperature and pressure compensation of gas flow measurement simple and improves the measurement accuracy.
The classification of the medium in the measurement of the temperature and pressure compensated vortex flowmeter
1, when measuring gas, temperature and pressure need to be compensated at the same time; Gases are generally settled in standard state volume flow rates. Because the volume flow of gas changes when the temperature or pressure changes, the flow will change.
2, when measuring superheated steam, the temperature and pressure need to be compensated at the same time; Steam is generally priced in mass flow rate. Because of any change in temperature or pressure, the density of the steam changes, and the mass flow rate changes with it.
3, when measuring saturated steam, single temperature compensation or single pressure compensation is required. The density of saturated vapor has a fixed correspondence with temperature or pressure (saturated vapor density table), knowing any one of which can determine the density of saturated vapor.
