According to the principle formula of the electromagnetic flowmeter, the induced signal potential is not affected by the change of conductivity and temperature, pressure, density and viscosity when the liquid conductivity is uniform. However, in the actual measurement, due to the following reasons, the electrical conductivity will also have some impact on the measurement.

Usually there is more or less a mixture in the fluid in the measurement of some occasions. In general, in the presence of a small bubbling flow of oil and gas bubbles, it is still able to work normally, but the measurement is a fusion of the volume of oil bubbles, if the proportion of oil and gas rises to have caused a projectile flow, then the electrode may be covered by gas, resulting in the circuit is disconnected, the output shake is more likely to be directly damaged.

Intelligent electromagnetic flowmeters are mainly used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquid and slurry in closed pipelines, including acid, alkali, salt and other highly corrosive liquids.
