Main points of steam flowmeter selection
At present, many users often think that the purchase of a high-price flow meter can get accurate measurement results. The measurement of steam is different from other fluids such as water, air and other media, and there are many factors affecting its measurement in the actual measurement.
Therefore, there is often a phenomenon that the flow meter itself is qualified, but the actual measurement is not “allowed”. So what’s the problem with these factors? Aister meters answer the question of how to select the steam flow meter.
The factors that affect the accurate measurement of vapor gas flowmeter are mainly the following:
1, the actual steam flow rate is lower than the meter’s measurable flow rate (range ratio is insufficient);
2, the gas flowmeter upstream and downstream installation of the straight pipe section is insufficient (there is flow disturbance);
3, the density compensation of steam is not correct (temperature measurement is not accurate);
4, water in the steam (without dryness compensation);
5, there is vibration and interference on site (vortex gas flowmeter);
6, differential pressure transmission error (differential pressure gas flowmeter) and so on.
