The two ends of a bent pipe are fixed, and the pipe is subjected to vibration force (according to the resonance frequency of the pipe) at the middle of the two fixed points, so that it vibrates at its natural frequency ω with the fixed point as the axis. When there is no fluid flow in the pipeline, the pipeline is only affected by the external vibration force, and the vibration direction of the two half sections of the pipeline is the same without phase difference. When there is a fluid flow, affected by the Coriolis force Fc flowing in the pipeline (Coriolis force F1 and F2 in the two half sections of the pipeline are equal in size and opposite in direction), the two half sections of the pipeline are twisted in the opposite direction, resulting in a phase difference, which is proportional to the mass flow. The design of the sensor is to convert the measurement of Coriolis force into the measurement of the phase difference on both sides of the vibration tube, which is the working principle of Coriolis principle mass flowmeter.
