Flow meter installation requirements are arranged as follows
Basic requirements for the installation of flowmeters:
1, the flow direction is consistent, the horizontal pipeline vortex generating body is installed vertically, and the vertical pipeline requires the bottom into the direction of up and out.
2, the diameter of the pipe should be consistent with the diameter of the instrument, otherwise it should be reduced and expanded. Note the difference between DIN (German standard) and ANSI (American standard) instrument diameters and the national standard G.
3. Ensure that the inner wall of the pipe on both sides of the flow meter is smooth and without surfacing.
4. Good alignment.
5, gasket can not be inserted into the pipeline.
6, the length of the straight pipe section before and after the instrument is required: at least 20D at the entrance, at least 10D at the exit, and the straight pipe section is longer when the import has multiple elbows, valves, etc.
7, pipeline vibration requirements: the pipeline can not have strong vibration, installation to avoid the motor, water pump and other vibrating objects, if necessary, in the flow meter or support or use hose connection
Different flowmeter installation precautions:
1, electromagnetic flowmeter need to do electrostatic ground,
2, the mass flow meter needs to be supported to avoid vibration interference,
3. Pay attention to the installation direction of the hole plate, and the inner diameter of the gasket at the flange should not be less than the inner diameter of the pipeline
Different flowmeter installation straight pipe section requirements:
1, rotor flowmeter, upstream is not less than 0 ~ 5 times the pipe diameter, downstream no requirements;
2, target flowmeter, upstream is not less than 5 times the pipe diameter, downstream is not less than 3 times the pipe diameter;
3, turbine flowmeter, upstream is not less than 5 ~ 20 times pipe diameter, downstream is not less than 3 ~ 10 times pipe diameter;
4, vortex flowmeter, upstream is not less than 10 ~ 40 times pipe diameter, downstream is not less than 5 times pipe diameter;
5, electromagnetic flowmeter, upstream is not less than 5 ~ 10 times pipe diameter, downstream is not less than 0 ~ 5 times pipe diameter;
6, ultrasonic flowmeter, upstream is not less than 10 ~ 50 times pipe diameter, downstream is not less than 5 times pipe diameter;
7, positive displacement flowmeter, no requirement;
8, the hole plate, the upstream is not less than 5 ~ 80 times the pipe diameter, the downstream is not less than 2 ~ 8 times the pipe diameter;
9, nozzle, upstream is not less than 5 ~ 80 times the pipe diameter, downstream is not less than 4 times the pipe diameter;
10, Venturi pipe, bend pipe, wedge pipe, upstream not less than 5 to 30 times the diameter of the pipe, downstream not less than 4 times the diameter of the pipe;
11, uniform pitot tube, the upstream is not less than 3 to 25 times the pipe diameter, the downstream is not less than 2 to 4 times the pipe diameter.
12, hot gas mass flowmeter, the upstream is not less than 20 times the pipe diameter, the downstream is not less than 10 times the pipe diameter.
