The lining materials in the electromagnetic flowmeter include: natural rubber, acid-resistant rubber, neoprene rubber, polyurethane rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyperfluorinated ethylene propylene.

 

(1) Natural rubber (soft rubber) : 1, has excellent elasticity, wear resistance and high tearing force; 2, resistance to general weak acid, weak alkali corrosion; Generally used for measuring water and sewage.

 

(2) Acid-resistant rubber (hard rubber) : it can withstand the corrosion of hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid, ammonia, phosphoric acid and 50% sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide at room temperature, but it is not resistant to the corrosion of strong oxidants, and is used for testing general acid, alkali and salt solutions.

 

(3) Neoprene (Neoprene) : 1, excellent elasticity, high breaking force, good wear resistance. 2, resistant to general low concentration of acid, alkali, salt solution corrosion, but not resistant to oxidation medium rot; Can measure water, sewage, mud and pulp.

 

(4) Polyurethane rubber (1) excellent wear resistance; 2, acid resistance, alkaline energy difference < 40℃; Measuring neutral and abrasive coal slurry, mud and ore slurry.

 

(5) polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) : 1, almost can resist all chemical media, capable of boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua Regis, concentrated alkali and various organic solvents; 2, not resistant to chlorine trifluoride, high temperature oxygen trifluoride, high flow rate liquid fluorine, ozone corrosion; 3, good wear resistance, poor bonding performance; Medium temperature -80 ~ +180℃ but not wear resistance; 4, the negative pressure resistance is not as good as neoprene rubber. Measuring concentration, strong caustic solution of concentrated alkali and sanitary medium.

 

(6) polyperfluorinated ethylene propylene (F46) : 1, the corrosion resistance is slightly lower than polytetrafluoroethylene, other chemical properties are the same; Used for strong corrosive and hygienic media such as concentrated acid and alkali.

 

Different lining materials are suitable for different media needs, and the suitable one is selected according to the situation, which also effectively ensures the use of the flowmeter.
